I guess Benson complaining again this week about playing time has paid off for him. He has played just as much as TJ today and has ran the ball really well with a 24 yard TD run. If he cries a little more he might just get more carries than TJ.

How do you go from All-Pro QB in the first few weeks to looking like he couldn't start for a high school team. I can see a couple of bad games here and there, nobody is perfect but he has been terrible over the past 7 weeks.

I think hes a good qb but hes really struggling. He just needs some good things to happen to get his confidence back up. Yesterday he threw 3 picks, one was not so good, he never saw the linebacker behind the ref. The other 2 picks werent bad at all, one ball was a deep ball that just got stuck in the wind, the receiver was wide open but the wind was ridiculous and probably wasnt the smartest idea to throw the ball. The last one was a tipped ball where Muhammad was open.
Im not really sure whats going on with Rex, its unlike him to lose confidence in himself. If they are playing not to lose, they might as well just go ahead and bench him because that game plan doesnt work that well. I saw it with Orton last year.
Its not all his fault, I was watching nfl matchup with Ron Jaworski and he was showing alot of film where receivers were making mistakes(not muhammad, but berrien, bradley, etc). They werent breaking routes off when they were supposed to. Receivers have to read defenses too and these guys are young, they will learn one way or another. Anyway in the film, Rex threw the ball where they were supposed to go on numerous occassions and it resulted in picks. Another thing Ive noticed too is that defenses are taking away Desmond Clark. Hes far from a superstar tight end so taking him out of the game plan isnt difficult. They are going to have to get him involved, hes a key component of Rex's success.
